This past weeekend I had the joy of driving home alone from my friends cabin. The air was clear and the snow from last week was still on the ground the entire drive home. This is unusual because rain usually washes away any hope of snowy fun within a day.
Anyway, I drove home along Highway 2--one of my favorite scenic drives. I usually am dashing home to beat the heavy traffic, never wanting to stop and smell the roses as they say. After all, I can't let all those cars I passed on the double lanes catch up up with me once I start driving again and get in my way. However, this ride I actually took the time to stop and enjoy the scenery.
